All intercooler piping at Maddog Customs is hand made from light weight aluminium, beautifully finished to any finish you desire. Be it left raw and honest, smoothed and brushed, mirror polished or painted to fit the image you have for your engine bay.
We dont recommend the use of stainless steel in intercooler piping, as its heavy and reduces performance of high power vehicles by adding unnecessary weight. Obviously if you’re set on stainless and we cant talk you out of it, we are more than hapy to oblige and treat it with the same care as our custom exhausts, being TIG welded with solid gas coverage and back purged to ensure no crusty burnt joints with sugaring internally that is so commonly found in performance fabrication.
All of our intercooler piping is perfectly aligned, bead rolled at both ends, finished off with high quality silicon couplers and constant tension Murray Clamps to ensure they stay on in the heat of racing.
